Base rate scope
Illustration rates cover a standard finish and exclude detailed backgrounds, very high detail, complex clothing, and special requests. Higher detail is quoted separately. Comic page rates assume roughly 3–5 panels, simple composition, and standard finish; cast, paneling, backgrounds, unusual layouts, scripting, and page count can change the quote.

Long-term Collaboration
Planning stage · Not open for enrollmentFor clients who would like to commission illustrations regularly. A three-month trial may be discussed, generally one piece per month. Scope, price, schedule, and capacity require individual agreement. Monthly or milestone payments are preferred; multi-year prepaid contracts are not offered.

01How does a commission begin?
Share your brief, references, and intended use. Water then confirms the scope, final quote, and estimated delivery; sketch, payment, and handoff arrangements are agreed per project.
02How are sketches and revisions handled?Pending Water’s approval
Sketch review, revision scope, and the number of changes are agreed before the project starts. No fixed revision count is assumed. Changes beyond the agreed scope are discussed first.
03Can I request rush work or something unusual?
Please ask first. Whether it can be accepted, the timeline, and any additional cost depend on the deadline and complexity.
04What about cancellation or refunds?Pending Water’s approval
Cancellation and refund conditions have not been finalized. No fixed policy is in force here; these terms must be agreed individually before a commission is accepted.
05How are commercial use and public display handled?Pending Water’s approval
The licensed use, permission to display or publish the work, credit, and confidentiality needs are agreed in advance. Client work is not assumed to be public without consent.
